Keyword tags are one of the main ways that you can segment your data on Authoritas, but did you know that the platform also offers dynamic Page Groups for filtering information? Some of the highlights include:

  1. Filter information by folder or path level, in modules such as Reports and Rank Tracking

  2. Assign tasks directly to Page Groups and understand the impact of completing these actions

  3. Groups dynamically update in line with domain crawls, helping you keep on top of changes to URLs

Page Groups take data from your site crawls and allows you to create groups, based on customisable URL rules. To get started, just head to Settings and select the option for Page Groups. After this, click on Add Page Group to start configuring.

As an example, let’s say that I want to create a Page Group here in our demo campaign for online fashion retailer Boohoo, which captures all the URLs that contain ‘shoes’.

Alternate text

  • I have given a name and description to label the group.

  • From here, Authoritas provides a range of selection options, including ‘Exactly Matches’, ‘Starts With’ and ‘Ends With’, but I am using ‘Contains’ here.

  • Multiple selections can be used, with the platform offering ‘AND’ / ‘OR’ logic to stack rules, to cover all kinds of use cases.

  • Clicking ‘Save’ will create the new group and it will automatically be checked against crawl data.

Alternate text

In this case, 180 pages have been found that contain ‘shoes’ in the URL.

This group can now be used in Reports, Rank Tracking and other modules, as a filter to focus in on data from these pages!

⚠️ Crawl data in Content 360 is required for Page Groups. Let us know if you need help setting up your schedule.
